The Campaign for JSU!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Friends and Supporters of Jackson State University:
The Campaign for Jackson State, “Challenging Minds, Changing
Lives,” is an empowering campaign that will weave its way
into the annals of JSU’s already rich history of change and
evolution. Jackson State is embarking on the single most
significant fundraising effort in the history of this
institution – and I personally invite you to participate in
this notable cause.
In recent years, we’ve made remarkable strides in rebuilding
JSU and providing much-needed improvements to the “brick and
mortar” foundation of our school. However, going far beyond
new walls, this campaign is about minds. It is about dreams.
The Challenging Minds, Changing Lives campaign is rooted in
our passion and commitment to academic excellence and the
future of Jackson State University. Your donations are
critical so that we may significantly improve our ability to
provide adequate student financial assistance; to attract
and retain quality faculty; and to provide unrivaled program
support that will empower the University through the 21st
century and beyond.
Please join me in our campaign to preserve, sustain and
nurture one of the most important gifts we can give our
students – the gift of a quality education that challenges
minds and changes lives. On behalf of our faculty, our
students and the community that we’re home to, I extend to
you a privileged invitation to contribute to a cause that
will impact the quality of our students – and the world they
serve – for generations to come.
With Sincerest Appreciation,
Dr. Ronald Mason, Jr.
President, Jackson State University
